Without doubt one of the UK's most extraordinary talents, Mark Mondesir is simply a master of the kit. Born in East London, Mark is largely self-taught, a surprising fact to those who witness his incredible drum independence in action.

Mark amazes audiences with his awe-inspiring technique, subtle feel and sheer inventiveness. He is seen as the sideman for choice for many of the great names including Courtney Pine, Julian Joseph, Bryan Ferry, David Grant, Jeff Beck and Pee-wee Ellis.

Dennis Chambers has been singing Mark’s praises for years describing him as “Probably one of the best drummers ever” and he also had the adulation of the notoriously hard to impress late Tony Williams.
